How to Install Windows XP on Windows 7 System?
Note: This method doesn’t work on intel i3, i5, i7 processor (only .net operating system supported processor family).
Guidelines:
Before you start with this process, I highly recommend to take a backup of your system. So in case if anything goes wrong, you can always revert back to stable situation.
1) Download this 2 software.
i) DIY DataRecovery MBRtool 2 :-> This software is use to make changes in MBR (Master Boot Record). We need this software to create a backup of MBR and then clear the MBR.

ii) EasyBCD :-> This software is use to make changes in Windows 7 bootloader configuration file.

Also we need Windows 7 Operating System DVD, to repaire the startup problem.
2) Install the MBRTool setup on your PC. Start the Application on following way.
Click on Start ->All Programs-> DIY DataRecovery MBRtool 2-> MBRtool Bootable Media builder. Select option “Create a Boot CD/DVD”, insert a blank (or rewriteable) CD/DVD into the drive and burn a disk.
3) Restast the system and boot from the MBRTool CD/DVD. If you are unable to boot from optical disk drive (i.e. CD/DVD drive), check your BIOS (Basic Input & Output Settings). For this purpose, you have to restart your PC with frequently pressing one of these keys -> DELETE; F1; F2; F10. BIOS Menu has key different, depend on each manufacturer type of computer. You have to change your PC’s BIOS boot device priority to CD/DVD as first boot device.
Press 1 key & hit enter to select MBRTool. In next screen choose option No. 4 to perform backup and blank the bootcode.
Now your system boot from MBRTool CD or DVD. You get a prompt screen to enter your choice.
Press 1 key to take backup of MBR, and save the backup on the sector rather than file.
Press any key to return the previous menu. Press 8 key and enter for ‘blank the bootcode’. [Note: Do not use option no. 5 which is perform ‘blank the partition’. This will delete all partition on your system]. And remember! Every times you have to select source disk “O” original.
4)Now you are able to run for install Windows XP Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3 Disk. Remove your MBRTool disc and insert Windows XP CD/DVD. Restart computer, after few minutes you have to select a partition and install the Windows XP. After the installation complete, eject the drive, remove XP disc and re-insert MBRTool disc.
5)It’s time to restore the MBR backup. Select 1 option to run MBRTool from disc. Select option no. 4. Then select option 2 ‘Restore’. Choose disk as ‘0’ (zero) for first hard disk drive. Select from ‘S’ for sector and give the sector number where the backup had put, select ‘O’ for original. Hit Enter, the backup will has be restored.
6)Now remove the disc and restart the PC, you will see that Windows 7 is booting.
If not then, insert Windows 7 DVD into the drive and restart it. Select option Repair. Next screen select the ‘Startup Repair’. It will automatically repair your startup problem even corrupted MBR entry. Restart the system and log into Windows 7.
7) Here you have to add Windows XP entry into the Windows 7 bootloader menu. For this purpose, you have to install ‘BCEdit’. Right click on the BCEdit desktop icon, select ‘run as administrator’. Click button ‘Add new entry’, select operating system Windows XP, check the box Automatically detect the drive and click on Add button. Click save button to take effect. It adds Windows XP entry to boot menu. Exit the program. Restart computer. Now you will find that choose Windows 7 or Windows XP option. Select Windows XP by up or down arrow key and hit enter. Now Windows XP is booting and you can log in it.
